1. Appointments & Cancellations

  • All grooming sessions are by appointment only. Appointments can be booked through the fresha online booking system using the links contained within the website or by contacting me directly vicki@pukka-pups.co.uk or  calling 07737709632

  • A minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Cancellations with less than 72 hours’ notice or no-shows may incur a fee equivalent to the full grooming cost.

  • Repeated missed appointments may require a non-refundable deposit for future bookings.

  • For all new customers a deposit of 30% is required to secure your booking

2. Late Arrivals & Collection

  • Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule, and a cancellation fee may apply.

  • Please collect your dog within 20 minutes of being notified that the grooming session is complete. failure to do so may incur a late collection charge of £15

3. Health & Welfare

  • Dogs must be up-to-date with vaccinations, including Canine Distemper, Infectious Canine Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, and Canine Parvovirus.

  • Inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or behavioural issues prior to the appointment.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service if a dog presents health concerns that may affect its safety, my safety or my colleagues safety

4. Grooming Process

  • We prioritize the well-being of your dog and will not proceed with any grooming that causes undue stress or discomfort.

  • Matted coats may require shaving to prevent pain or injury. Additional charges may apply for de-matting services.

  • We do not pluck ears or express anal glands.

5. Aggressive or Difficult Dogs

  • Owners must inform us if their dog has a history of aggression or behavioural issues.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service if a dog poses a risk to staff or itself.

  • If a dog becomes aggressive during grooming, the session may be halted, and the owner will be contacted immediately.

  • In the event that a groom is cancelled due to aggressive behaviour full payment will be required 

6. Payment

  • Payment is due upon collection of your dog.

  • i accept cash, card, and bank transfers.

  • Prices are subject to change based on the dog’s size, coat condition, and behaviour.

7. Photography & Social Media

  • i may take photographs of your dog before and after grooming for use on our website, social media, and promotional materials.

  • If you do not wish for your dog’s images to be used, please inform Me at the time of your appointment.

8. Liability

  • While we take every precaution to ensure the safety and well-being of your dog, grooming is performed at the owner’s risk.

  • We are not liable for any pre-existing conditions or issues that arise during grooming.

  • In the event of an emergency, we will seek immediate veterinary care, and any associated costs will be the owner’s responsibility.
